On this week’s episode of Bravo’s The Valley, Jax changed his tune about his relationship with Brittany, but she’s not interested in patching things up. Danny wants to make amends with Jasmine but continues to deny having issues with alcohol abuse. Meanwhile, Kristen repeats a rumor she heard about Janet and Jason’s marriage, alleging that he takes his ring off when he goes out with the guys.
A Fresh Start?
Jax is grateful to be able to see Cruz for a short period of time and is hopeful to fix things with Brittany as well. However, Brittany isn’t interested because she believes he hasn’t changed and is quickly proven right. Jax put a down payment on a condo for himself, Brittany, and Cruz to move into, without even consulting Brittany. However, Brittany reveals that he hasn’t paid the mortgage on their home for the past three months, at the time of filming. Brittany is even more done than she already was because now Jax is messing with her life and credit.
Wedding Bells for Michelle?
Michelle admits in a confessional that once her divorce from Jesse is finalized and things settle down, she will be open to remarrying and hopes to start a new chapter with her current boyfriend, Aaron.
“I want to get married again one day, and I hope one day will be Aaron and I”, Michelle said in a confessional.
A Splash at the Pool Party
Brittany throws a pool party at her house, and old friends from Vanderpump Rules Scheana Shay and Lala Kent make appearances. Both are full-stop team Michelle, and Lala lays into Jesse for the way he’s been treating Michelle. She questions how he would feel if a man treated Isabella that way, and isn’t here for his excuses.
“You’re mean to my friend, I think you’re toxic, I think you’re a narcissist, and I’m happy I don’t have to deal with you”, Lala tells Jesse before walking away with Scheana following her.
Jasmine Speaks Her Mind
Jasmine and Melissa meet with Danny to explain their point of view of Danny’s inappropriate behavior towards them during Halloween. Jasmine explains that as women, they feel their relationship and love for each other isn’t taken as seriously by others and they constantly need to defend their relationship. It was hurtful for them to have to defend themselves against someone they call a friend. Danny acknowledges and validates their perspective, and explains that as a straight man, he didn’t consider that, although that’s not an excuse. They end things on a positive note and agree, once again, to move forward in their friendship.
The Rumor Mill
At Brittany’s pool party, Jason and Janet learn of rumors that Jason takes his wedding ring off when he goes out with “the boys.” They hear that Kristen was the one who repeated the rumor and that she heard it from Jasmine. This hurts Jason, as his friendship with Danny was momentarily strained due to Danny’s drunken actions against Jasmine and Melissa, so it was shocking to find out she was talking behind his and Janet’s back.
Kristen felt compelled to share this rumor as a result of Nia and Janet’s current conflict. Nia and Kristen have grown closer because Nia has been there for Kristen throughout her fertility journey. She feels protective of Nia, and wants to defend her and Danny,
Naturally, the couple confronts Kristen. Janet doesn’t believe the rumors but is hurt that Kristen would repeat them. Kristen defends her actions with the excuse that her and Janet were on bad terms, so she didn’t owe her any loyalty and didn’t know her and Jason enough to determine if the rumor was true.
