Juan Soto’s Return to the Bronx

Juan Soto and the New York Mets made a trip to the Bronx for a marquee matchup against the New York Yankees.

When Soto made his presence known in Yankee Stadium, he was met with loud boos and many fans turning their backs on him to show their bitterness over signing with cross town rival Mets.

Soto left the Yankees to sign with the Mets for a $765 million dollar contract. The Deal is for 15 years of his service making him the most expensive player in MLB history.

The Yankees would end up winning the three-game series 2-1 with a 6-2 victory on May 16th, a 3-2 loss on May 17th, and a 8-2 win on May 18th.

Both teams will meet again on the Fourth of July weekend when they face each other for another three-game series at Citi Field.

Both teams are currently in playoff contention and the hope is to make this series exciting and highly competitive

Juan Soto is currently the most talked about player in New York City. He is loved by the crowd in Queens, but hated in the crowd of the Bronx.
