On this week’s episode of Bravo’s The Valley, the group continued celebrating Kristen and Luke’s engagement in Maui. Jax heard the news from Britney, which led to her and Kristen acknowledging the cracks in their friendship. Janet and Jason tried to keep their distance, but the drama between Kristen and Janet came to a head during a night on the boat.

Some Things Never Change
Brittany accidentally tells Jax about Kristen and Luke’s engagement over the phone, claiming that old habits die hard. He was her “person” she told everything to for almost 10 years, so it’s hard not to tell him big news about their mutual friends.
“It’s very easy to miss someone whom you still love. I would still be with him if it weren’t for all the stuff he’s pulled,” Brittany says about Jax in a confessional.
Jax admits that, despite all the changes he’s claimed to have made, he’ll always have a big mouth, which is made abundantly clear by revealing the engagement to Tom.
“That’s one thing I’ll never be able to fix. I can’t keep a secret,” Jax says in a confessional.
Janet the Fan
Brittany and Kristen have a conversation to discuss the distance in their relationship, which Kristen strongly believes is due to Brittany’s loyalty to Janet. However, Brittany asserts that she loves Kristen and Janet equally. Kristen also reflects on how the group met Janet to begin with. They’ve known her for several years, as Janet is a close friend of Scheana, everyone’s best friend, and was a fan of Vanderpump Rules. Kristen implies that Janet inserted herself into the group to be in the spotlight.
Messy Three-Year-Olds
Kristen and Zack are both fed up with Janet, despite Janet and Zack having made amends several weeks prior. He believes that Janet and Scheana are just as messy as the rest of the group, but never get held accountable for it.

Specifically, Zack believes that Janet and Scheana were the one’s who brought Aaron’s ex-girlfriend around the friend group, and that they play dumb when the drama comes to a head.
My Engagement Weekend
Tensions come to an all-time high when the group ends the night with a boat trip, unable to escape each other or avoid their issues. Kristen and Janet, in particular, have quite the memorable blow-out. Once again, Kristen comes to Danny and Nia’s defense, when Janet accuses Danny of sexual assault, referring to his drunken Halloween incident with Jasmine and Melissa at Jax’s bar.
Janet shows she’s learned a thing or two about the law by marrying Jason.
“Having a lawyer husband is hard because if you use the legal terms for stuff, people get really upset,” Janet snarks in a confessional.
“Should I say he got handsy? Molested? Grouped?” Janet continued.
Naturally, Danny and Nia confront Janet and Jason about the allegations. Janet doubles down on her remarks, feeling that Danny made choices and he has to live with the consequences. Danny points out he has owned up to his actions several times, and Nia feels that Janet is once again inserting herself where she doesn’t belong. So much for making peace, right?
Nia and Danny walk away from the argument, and Nia is upset that Danny let them get the better of him. Meanwhile, just as the boat is about to dock, Kristen is ready for round two Janet. Their conflict comes to the dramatic climax that has been building all season.
“Get the f*** off my boat, it’s my f***ing engagement weekend. How about that bitch,” Kristen screams to Janet.
Kristen, on a rampage, continues arguing with Janet after the boat docks.
“You’re a f***ing fan, bitch,” Kristen says to Janet, ever-so-gently implying that they may not even have a show if it weren’t for Kristen being an original cast member on Vanderpump Rules.
Janet gets one more comeback in before the conclusion of the episode.
“There’s a reason it’s crazy Kristen and not crazy Janet,” she says, pointing out that Kristen seems to be the common denominator at the center of the group’s drama.
