How to Train Your Dragon

How to Train Your Dragon is a live-action remake of the 2010 animated movie. The live-action movie tells a story about a young Viking, Hiccup, on a journey to make his father proud by becoming a dragon slayer: a Viking tradition within his village. Yet, as Hiccup comes across a dragon, he attempts to slay the tied-up dragon, but he releases the dragon instead. His act of not harming the dragon led to an adventure of Hiccup befriending the dragon, Toothless, and realizing how his village may have misunderstood dragons. What else can the movie have in store for us? Based on the astonishing animation, the live-action trailer showcases stunning visuals of the costumes and landscape, an amazing cast that perfectly fits each role, and jaw-dropping visual effects that match the iconic animation scenes frame by frame. If you haven’t checked out the animation, we recommend watching the 2010 film first before you watch the live-action movie in June. 28 Years Later
Release Date: June 20th, 2025
28 Years Later is the long-awaited sequel of the spine-chilling trilogy: 28 Days Later. The post-apocalyptic horror film takes place twenty-eight years later after the “rage virus” escaped from a biological weapons laboratory. Based on the trailer, the terrifying yet exceptionally crafted film showcases a society that survived the virus outbreak and settled to live on an island. However, a group of survivors become curious and strive to leave the island to discover the horror behind the virus after many years. Does that sound horrifying yet? If you haven’t seen the film series, we recommend having a 28 Days Later marathon to fully immerse yourself within the zombie post-apocalyptic world before the third movie releases in the summer. Don’t walk, run over to the movie theaters to watch 28 Years Later in June before the zombies catch up to you!
Michael
Release Date: October 3rd, 2025
“The King of Pop” returns as an upcoming biographical musical drama: Michael. From gracefully moonwalking at every show to landing number-one hits on the music chart, Jaafar Jackson, Michael Jackson’s nephew, embodies the showstopping singer, songwriter, and dancer of four decades. The film promises to take us on a journey of Michael Jackson’s music career from his time as a Jackson 5 member to his solo career in becoming an influential icon of the 20th century. If you are new to Michael Jackson, we recommend listening to his unskippable discography and/or watching Is This It to capture a glimpse of his life documented on stage. However, if you are a long-time fan, we suggest you wear the shiny white glove to show your appreciation for Michael Jackson while watching the movie in theaters. Tron: Ares
Release Date: October 10th, 2025
Tron: Ares is a standalone science fiction sequel to Tron: Legacy where Ares is sent on a dangerous mission in the real world. Ares, played by Jared Leto, is a powerful program from the digital world that will encounter humankind as an A.I. sentient. Not only is the film evolving within the story, but Tron-enthusiasts are excited for Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross to compose their first film score for Tron: Ares as Nine Inch Nails. The industrial rock band will develop an atmospheric electronic-based score for the Tron franchise so that moviegoers will feel like they have been transported into the film. If you are into science-fiction movies, you should watch Tron and Tron: Legacy before Tron: Ares to understand the groundbreaking storyline from the very beginning. Wicked: For Good
Release Date: November 21st, 2025
From glorious costume designs to enchanting melodies, Wicked: For Good is a fantasy musical sequel to Wicked. The film is the second-act adaptation of the Broadway musical: Wicked, where it will pick up from act one and explore the depth of Glinda and Elphaba’s friendship. As promised, act two will star Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo and their amazing singing abilities will be showcased throughout the new soundtrack for the film. In addition, this movie will have numerous musical numbers that will leave you in awe and with the words stuck in your head. If you love musicals, we recommend you watch Wicked: The Musical to comprehend the plot, but if you don’t want any spoilers, then you should rewatch Wicked the day before you watch part two in theaters.
